Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) COO Sheryl Sandberg and many other firm executives narrowly missed flying on the Asiana airlines flight that crashed at San Francisco International Airport Saturday, as per reported by a published report.

Sandberg mentioned on her Facebook page that she and her colleagues shifted to a United flight at the last minute so she could cash in some frequent flier miles for her family members. The flight she took landed almost 20 minutes ahead of the Asiana crash.
