Stocks Gaining Momentum: Responsys Inc (NASDAQ:MKTG), Oramed Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ORMP), Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (USA) (NASDAQ:TSEM), Ivanhoe Energy Inc. (USA) (NASDAQ:IVAN)

Responsys Inc (NASDAQ:MKTG) jumped nearly 38 percent in the current trading session following the news that Oracle Corp is acquiring Responsys in a transaction valued at nearly $1.5 billion. Oracle will pay $27 for each share that represents a hefty premium of roughly 38 percent from the stock’s closing price on Thursday. MKTG shares are trading in the range of $28.86 to $27.30 today. The company has a market capitalization of $1.38 billion.

 

Oramed Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ORMP) made a new 52-week high of $13.69 in the mid-day trading session today after the development-stage pharmaceutical firm announced positive clinical test results for its oral insulin capsule in type 1 diabetes patients. ORMP shares are trading in the range of $10.05 to $13.69 today. The company has a market capitalization of $96.79 million.

 

Tower Semiconductor Ltd. (USA) (NASDAQ:TSEM) jumped 52.93 percent to $6.87 today on traded volume of 1.48 million shares. The 52-week range of the stock is $3.85 to $8.67. TSEM shares have been showing positive movement from the last few days. The stock increased nearly 80 percent in the past five days.  The company has a market capitalization of $159.31 million.

 

Ivanhoe Energy Inc. (USA) (NASDAQ:IVAN) rose 11.60 percent to $0.583 today on traded volume of 1.82 million shares. The 52-week range of the stock is $0.35 to $2.90. Ivanhoe Energy is an international heavy oil development and production firm with core operations in China, Canada, Ecuador and Mongolia. The company has a market capitalization of $66.94 million.
