As a general rule, insider buying shows management’s confidence in the company, and is considered a bullish sign—in other words a sign that stock prices are likely to go up. The total sale came to $275,162, leaving the total count to 556,115 shares. Its shares currently owned by company management are 0.70% while institutional investors own about 72.00%. On the other side, 6.17% change in total institutional ownership has been reported for the 3-month period.

Moving on to the second insider trade which involved BUTITTA CYNTHIA M, a COO and CFO at Kite Pharma Inc (NASDAQ:KITE) sold 10,000 shares at $50.00 per share to trim the total holding at 95,401 shares. Its shares currently owned by company management are 1.10% while institutional investors own about 84.80%. The 6-month change recorded in total insider ownership was -34.68%. On the other side, 0.55% change in total institutional ownership has been reported for the 3-month period.

Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) also received some insider trading action as Stretch Colin, who the company’s VP and General Counselis sold some 1,000 shares at a price of $112.00 per share to the holding that now comprises of 76,753 shares. Its shares currently owned by company management are 0.30% while institutional investors own about 69.90%. The 6-month change recorded in total insider ownership was -65.49%. On the other side, 0.01% change in total institutional ownership has been reported for the 3-month period.
